From Moments to Memories – Our Love Story
It all began about five years ago. Two students just across the
Charles River. What started as shared curiosity soon became
something deeper, an ease, an intellectual spark, and a kind of
warmth that made Boston feel smaller and the world feel big enough
for just the two of them.
Life took them in different directions, but somehow always found
a way to bring them back together. In 2021, a trip to Serbia with friends
felt like the beginning of something returning. In 2022, London brought
them together again while Shriya was visiting her friends and Vipul happened
to be living there. Each time, the connection was familiar, effortless,
and undeniable.
Then came Bali in 2023. At a mutual friend’s wedding, they ran
into each other once more, unexpectedly, but by now not surprisingly,
sharing easy conversations and old warmth in a new place. Later that
same year, they met again in Mumbai, and that reunion, simple as it was,
quietly changed everything. It was there that both began to understand
what this connection truly meant.
Since then, life together has grown in quiet, meaningful ways.
They’ve enjoyed rides to Lake Tahoe, hikes at Zion National Park, and
religiously playing NYT games together.
In July 2025, they made another trip to London. Shriya was there
for work, and Vipul joined her. One boat ride turned into an unforgettable
moment, as Vipul asked a question that had lived in both their hearts.
Her yes marked the start of a new chapter, though their story had been
writing itself long before that moment.
A few months later, surrounded by family in Kuala Lumpur, they
celebrated their engagement. A room full of joy and warmth, stitched
together by years of timing, chance, and choice. What began as two paths
crossing in Boston is now a journey held together by chance meetings,
quiet choices, and a love that has always found its way home.
